During pregnancy, skin often loses moisture more quickly. Hormonal changes, water retention, and a change in pH often make the skin—especially on the stomach—dry, sensitive, and tight.
How to support your skin: Care for it daily with moisturizing creams and oils, such as shea butter, almond oil, or jojoba oil. These valuable ingredients help strengthen the skin's natural barrier and give the skin noticeable suppleness. Also, drink plenty of water – because true moisturizing starts from within. Avoid long, hot showers if possible, as they can further dry out the skin.
